Welcome to Lockport's Rivi-Erie

What is the Rivi-Erie?

Lockport's summers are the best in the world. Now we've added a beach!

This is a beach and  is an homage to the French Riviera and also to the urban beaches in Paris.  Our Rivi-Erie is nestled next to the Erie Canal at Widewater's Marina, we  have 120 tons of sand, beach chairs and umbrellas for summer fun. Stop by to play, build a sand castle, bury your toes in the sand...but don't jump in the canal!  This year the City of Lockport will be running the beach.  But don't worry, we have a vested interest in its success.

Check our Facebook page for updates.

Thank you

The Grigg Lewis Foundation does so much for Lockport.  We are forever grateful for the grant that made  this public art project possible.
